Amy Allen
Funeral Assistant

Amy has recently relocated to Wake County from her home state of Texas. She lives in Zebulon and serves as a funeral assistant.

Ruth V. Bennett
Assistant Manager

Ruth is the assistant manager of Montlawn Funeral Home and serves families during their time of need. She pride’s herself in offering the utmost in compassionate personal service to each family she is honored to assist. She and her husband have two daughters and live in Cary.

Cindy Brittain
Director of Administration

Cindy is in her fifth year of service and is an integral part of the Montlawn management team. She oversees all areas of accounting and records management and provides outstanding leadership and customer service. She is an active member of Wakefield Central Baptist Church in Zebulon where she lives with her husband and they are the proud parents of four children.

Cary Cannady
Funeral Director/Embalmer-Director of Community Outreach

Cary Cannady is the incoming president of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association. Cary brings over 28 years of service to families in the Greater Raleigh/Wake County area. He is a certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Cary’s focus will be serving families during their time of need as well as serving as the Director of Community Outreach.

Don Confer
Family Service Counselor - Montlawn Memorial Park

A veteran of the death care profession, Don is a family service counselor and works with families both at the time of need and in preplanning all aspects of cemetery arrangements.

Grace Hargis
Funeral Assistant/Receptionist

Grace is in her third year with Montlawn Funeral Home where she serves as a funeral assistant and receptionist. She is an ordained minister and serves as the associate pastor of the First Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.

Dorothy McEwan
Funeral Administrative Assistant

Dorothy has been with Montlawn for seven years and takes much deserved pride in providing compassionate service to families in the areas of accounting, insurance filing and assists with Veterans and Social Security benefits. She is a volunteer with Hospice of Wake County and an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest where she also volunteers at the Catholic Parish Outreach Food Pantry.

David Scott Sanderford
General Manager

Scott is a native of Wendell and has extensive knowledge of both funeral and cremation services and has many years of experience in working with families from a variety of different religious faiths and ethnicity. “The accomplishment of which he is most proud is to be able to serve families from a tremendously diverse background here in my hometown.” Scott is married and they are proud parents of two spoiled Beagles.

Cheryl Ysidron
Senior Family Service Counselor

Cheryl is a Senior Family Service Counselor with many years experience in serving families with their cemetery needs, both prior to and at the time of need. She strives to provide personalized memorialization that is fitting and unique to each family she serves. Cheryl and her husband Bob live in Cary .
